Presentations of the project researchers at the Fifth Congress of Croatian Historians in Zadar, October 5-8, 2016

Organized by the Croatian National Committee for the Historical Sciences, Society for the Croatian Historiography, and the University in Zadar, the Fifth Congress of Croatian Historians was held in Zadar, October 5-8, 2016. Project researchers Robert Skenderović and Anđelko Vlašić participated at the Congress with their presentations in line with the topic of the scientific project “From Virgin Forests to Ploughlands: History of Anthropization of Forests in Slavonia from the Middle Ages to the Beginning of the 20th Century”.

Robert Skenderović held a presentation entitled “Interpellations of the members of the Parliament of Croatia-Slavonia-Dalmatia concerning the fights between villagers and noblemen on forests in the 1860s”, and Anđelko vlašić held a presentation entitled “The 17th Century Crisis of the Ottoman Empire and its reflection in Croatian lands”.
